She has worked in both NHS and private sport roles working with a Surrey league rugby team. With over 8 years of experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy Becca is passionate about a combined approach of evidence based rehabilitation, manual therapy and soft tissue treatment to promote long term management of musculoskeletal conditions with patient empowerment being a primary focus.
For the last 2 years Becca worked as an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist assessing and treating a variety of complex conditions and gained invaluable experience working with GP,s consultants. This role required her to not only provide gold standard treatment, but to manage complex cases including referring for appropriate tests and investigations, or to others such as consultants for surgical management if indicated. She has a special interest in treating the upper limbs and hip joints with 8 years experience running rehabilitation classes. To compliment this Becca completed a masters module in the upper quadrant at Brunel University.
To add to her clinical expertise Becca is a trained injecting clinician, and is able to administer corticosteroid and hyaluronic acid injections to manage pain and inflammation for a range of musculoskeletal conditions. She is currently completing a course which will allow her to perform ultrasound guided injections increasing the variety of injections she is able to provide.
