Pain Clinic

Clinic Director and Consultant Physiotherapist Lucinda Davies is a qualified non-medical prescriber and is able to prescribe prescription medication to her patients.  This service aims to provide quick access to pain medication without having to wait for a GP appointment.

During your appointment, Lucinda will assess, diagnose, prescribe if required, and get you on the road to recovery by commencing physiotherapy too. This one-stop service is a fast-track solution to your problem getting on top of the pain whilst delivering the highest standard of physiotherapy too. Lucinda is also able to refer for scans, or refer you to a consultant if required.

Examples of conditions we can prescribe medication for to allow you to recover with physiotherapy are:

  • Sciatica and back pain
  • Nerve pain
  • Arthritis including topical analgesia
  • Acute muscle injuries and spasm
  • Tendon issues and soft tissue injuries like Plantarfaciitis
